Product Description:
Equip yourself for emergencies with the Spartan Armor Systems® Rapid Response Kit. This kit is designed for fast, effective response with superior Level III+ Rifle Rated Protection. Comprising a Hydra Plate Carrier and a set of AR550 body armor plates, this kit delivers excellent protection and performance.
While our AR550 body armor plates are labeled as Level III (as per National Institute of Justice (NIJ) requirements), they are made from AR550 ballistic steel and have undergone special threat testing to Level III+. This means they're capable of superior protection, specifically against high velocity penetrator rounds such as M855 (aka green tips).
The Hydra Plate Carrier, included in the kit, is versatile and ideal for emergency situations like active shooter scenarios. It features easily adjustable buckles for a snug fit and breathable mesh at contact points for maximum comfort. It accepts Medium or Large SAPI plates up to 10.25" x 13.25", making it a perfect fit for our shooter cut and swimmer cut AR500 and AR550 body armor.
