ROUNDS PART 2: BODY ARMOR TESTING
In a recent blog article Rob Orgel of ER Tactical compared the ballistic performance of the most common American (NATO) and Russian rounds. In this Body Armor 101 video we take it a step further by testing these rounds against level III, level III+ and level IV body armor. For the American rounds this test includes 7.62x51 (M80 BALL), 5.56x45 (M193), M855 (green tips). On the Russian side, we test 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 5.45x39 7N6 and 7.62x54R.
