Finally got it . For the price you pay for this set up you would be a fool not to buy it . The fit of the carrier by far exceeds the comfort of others I have worn in the past . I would recommend this to those I know whom are of patriotic interest.
Q: Does this fold up with plates in place or must they be removed first?

A: You can place the carrier and plates (still intact with carrier) inside the bag.

It will hold them securely in place as it is made for Shooters Cut Plates.
