Spartan Armor Systems® non-ballistic trauma pads utilize extremely light micro-cellular urethane foam padding that significantly decreases backface deformation and dissipates the impact energy sustained on your plate armor, reducing the transmitted force to the operator’s body. Additionally, our trauma pads dramatically increase comfort and ergonomics while wearing body armor. Simply put, the Spartan Armor Systems trauma pad will drastically reduce blunt force trauma by absorbing energy over the increased surface area of the pad.
