Arizona celebrated its centennial in 2012, marking it becoming the 48th state in 1912. And right here in our Tucson, AZ operations facility, Spartan Armor wants to acknowledge our own milestone. We just passed the 13,000-mark for ceramic plates sold out of our state-of-the-art operations facility.

From our humble beginnings in a southeast Tucson garage, we have steadily grown into one of the leading body armor manufacturers in the world. As much as we believe in our product, process, and people, we never dreamed we would reach 13,000 Level IV sales in under a decade.

Spartan Armor achieved this milestone in far less time than it takes most suppliers. We say that humbly because we owe it all to you, the customer. You have spoken loudly by freely choosing to order from us and, in many cases, repeatedly.

Throughout the civil unrest of 2020-2021, we navigated through the troubled waters to meet the increased demand while addressing operational challenges. Consumers rewarded our work by choosing us as their preferred body armor provider. We saw record sales during that period and chose to invest in expanding our Tucson operations facility. 

Our quality control has only improved since then because we now have even more operational oversight of the end-to-end process. Our extra storage space has allowed us to operate seven times faster without sacrificing quality. Taking control of our local supply chain means we can monitor quality control throughout the process.  

Our amazing team makes our domestically produced ceramic plates all in-house.
